Splash potion night vision says duration of 6:00 but gives duration of 4:00

Splash potion night vision says duration of 6:00 but gives duration of 4:00. Been all over map have not been able to find ancient city. Had to create it. Mining length is off along with placement length. Recovery compass shows a location even when didn't die. Delay in block placement. Nether map is glitching out. End crystal doesnt project the beam into the sky.
