Not Letting Me Craft

My mine craft did the an update when I restarted my Xbox and now I can't craft anything in my craft table. I have all my resources but nothing craft able. I don't know what happened and I've restarted my Xbox again and but I don't know what to do from here.  Like I want to make an iron pickaxe and it won't even pop up in my craft table anymore. I tried to manually create it and it won't let me make it. SOS!
