Maps on item frames disappearted

I put maps on item frames and finished the game.

After logging in to the games again, the maps I put last time disappeared.

Other items I put in chests same time were still in the chests. 

I'm not sure whether this is a bug or not, but  I have the conviction that I put maps on the frame before finishing the game.
