Device does not delete update data (kept 1.17 data so there were duplicates with 1.18 data)

I had minecraft installed on my iOS device from update aquatic onward, and I noticed that the file for “trident” and a couple others were duplicated. I looked into it and almost every file was duplicated from 1.13 onwards. Files have since been deleted and issue has not reappeared for 1.19.
