Realm crashing daily

The realm that I am part of crashes daily, freezing up and then, after having to wait thirty minutes, will reset back to a previous save. This has been happening almost every day, and seems to have started with the one of the more recent updates. 

It happens like clockwork around 11pm every night. 

I will say, it also happens when I swing to hit one of the other players (who has thorns 3 armor like myself) could this be a cause?
