Sugar Cane Duplication Using Pistons

Sugar cane can be duplicated rapidly using this method:
1. Place sticky piston next to base of sugar cane.
2. Cover water source.
3. Activate sticky piston.
One sugar cane should drop but the original sugar cane should still be there. Repeat these steps for infinite sugar cane.

And yes I know there are several other posts about pistons and sugar cane but this is the first about duplication
