Unable to access my skins on switch

I am unable to access all my skins I purchased. Everything time I press "edit character" it says it's having trouble connect to the marketplace. The normal marketplace button works just fine. But I can't access my purchased skins and character creator items. I can only access the 5 preselected skins.
