Won’t save, non stop saving, then stuck on saving world screen, lose all progress on world

Seriously needs to be fixed I can’t save my world I keep losing all progress and I wait for like 3 hours and the saving screen will just keep loading non stop, my friends have Been grinding and now they are mad because all the progress was for nothing
