Sending a message in chat when using a BT controller on iOS makes the game near unplayable

When using a Bluetooth controller (either an Xbox or Third party controller) on iOS can cause the game to seem bugged between touch controls and a controller after sending anything in chat (either a message or a command)

 

how to setup:

1. Connect a Bluetooth controller to your phone

2. Join any world or realm

3. Move around for a second (to initial controller controls)

4. send any message or command in chat

5. when you close the chat box your game may become bugged

 

This bug basically makes and movement with the controller slow and most buttons don’t work, touch controls can also become unresponsive
