Raid- Remaining mobs error

I was killing raid mobs. There was only 1 mob left. I realized the last mob went through nether portal. Then, I killed the raid mob in the nether, but when I went back to over world, there was still a warning which indicates " 1 mob left." The game actually did not count my kill in the nether. So, the next raid will never start !
