Incapable of joining world, stuck on loading screen.

The issue is dedicated to multiplayer and realms when attempting to join my friends server/realm. I keep getting stuck on world loading screens saying "generating world loading resources" or "joining server" I reinstalled it and made sure my connection is great. Though I really think it's when joining a world with huge chunks or data.
