Lag in my realm makes it unplayable for 10-20 minutes

What I expected to happen was...:
I thought bugs were supposed to be fixed in the last update but it's made things worse 

What actually happened was...:
We get to a certain part of the day and we'll go to go in the nether or build and all of a sudden we lag can't move can't break anything or do anything for at least 10 minutes making the game unplayable
