Lava burn under water in Nether portals

I discovered a netherportal under water on my world. absolutely normal. when I swam closer I saw lava that didn't turn to obsidian.At the border of the lava (1-2 pixels from block) is water. So the lava block is actually filled with water, but has been replaced by a bug with lava, where the water doesn't go away.
