Screens like Crafting Table Menu, Chests etc load very slowly

A lot of the UI screens load very slowly on my device. For example when i try opening a chest, it shows the loading icon but takes about 5 to 10 seconds to load the actual chest. This makes the game quite unplayable for me since I'm very vulnerable during this period of time since i can't interact with anything else and mobs can easily kill me
