Endermites aren't spawning in 1.18.30

Endermites will not spawn using spawn eggs or ender pearls anywhere in the end. 

I was trying to create an enderman farm and you need an endermite for it but I could not get one to spawn. 

I restarted my game but still nothing happened. Thanks if you fix
