Cannot place blocks outside of the world bug

So I was using the /fill in commands and now it doesn't work completely, I tried to fill in a block very close to me within the render distance and I keep getting an error even I type in the coordinates correctly. Totally unusable now please fix this mojang.

How to reproduce:

1) open the chat and type /fill and then the first coordinate number (x,y,z) 

2) move or walk about 10-20 blocks in front of you and type that second coordinate number in

3) use any block you want when you're finishing up filling in the command and press enter.
