Nintendo Switch OLED (Bedrock) unusable lagging since 1.18.30

pre-exiting worlds are un-usable. However, a new world created with wild update appears fine so far, but its a NEW world so expecting problems later. and honestly I dont want to start a new world with any new update.

very unhappy with this update and

no ability to

a) turn-off or tune auto-save

b) choose slower update cycle, turn off updates or play earlier versions.
