Data Driven Tools: block tags no longer work to mine data driven blocks faster

I noticed when testing a custom pickaxe in an add-on, I tried mining a custom block with the block tag 'stone', which I stated in the pickaxe that it could mine that block tag. The result was, it defaulted to mining as fast as your fists. I left Minecraft Preview and installed the same add-on the 1.18.12 version on bedrock and it worked as intended, but the preview didn't.
