Minecraft freezes every 15 minutes

Every 15 minutes, minecraft will competently freeze up, and I can't continue playing unless I close the game. Minecraft is the only game on my console affected by this bug. I can't do as much as I want to on minecraft due to this issue. It has been going on for months.
