Mud cannot be turned into clay with a pointed dripstone

Summary:
When there is a dripstone block and a pointed dripstone under the mud, the mud should turn into clay over time. This works in java but doesn't work in bedrock.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Place such a design (as in the screenshot):
   
2. Wait a while.

Observed results:
Mud does not turn into clay.

Expected results:
Mud should turn into clay after a short time.
