Minecraft recourse packs fail to download

Whenever I download a recourse pack, it says it downloaded, but whenever I go to the storage, it's not there. The game also crashes when I try to cancel a download, go back when attempting to activate the after-download failed downloaded pack to the create world menu, and is stuck on checking recourse pack.
