Fill command being really laggy

Recently the fill command has only been letting me fill much smaller areas with blocks, however before the beta, it wouldallow me to fill bigger areas of space - if I were to attempt this, it always comes up with "unable to place blocks outside of the world", however this is incorrect as the blocks are in plain sight
