Allay picks up 1 - 2 items when 3 or more stacks are present in the vicinity

After testing the Allay it broke when trying to pick up on a pile of blocks with 3 - 10 stack in that area. It only picked up 1 or 2 at a time but after picking it up and just throwing 2 stacks the Allay picks up 1 stack at a time.
