Grey Grass BBug

I put up a infinte redstone comprastion, and i connected it to pistons, but the block right next to it (aka Grass Block), on the top, it turned to a grey version of the top texture.

 

I think the problem is that the Piston Head (or the thing the pushes the thing out of the block) is just glitching out.
