Player takes fall damage by no reason when playing on someone's world

I was towering up to build something in my friend's world when by no reason I seemed to be continously taking fall damage when I was just towering up!!!

Steps to reproduce:
1. Join someone's world
2. Have decent lag
3. Start towering up the faster you can
