The pause menu does not work.

Hello, I would like to inform you about one thing I hate about Minecraft Bedrock edition which is the pause menu. When I press < Esc > a menu appears, but that doesn't make the game pause and it messes up my jagabilities. Because of this I have died several times because the pause button does nothing. So today I reported about it so you guys can at least try to fix it. Thanks
