Written in signs don't work well with glow ink sak

In the first image, the word "alimentação" (in Portuguese) is written without the tilde accent (~) , which serves to give a nasal sound to the letter. In the second image, the tilde is in the word, but the glossy ink doesn't sit well with it. I don't know if this happens with other accents.
