Slabs broken in 1.18.1

Steps to Reproduce*:
1. Aim cursor at a block while holding slabs
2. Hold down the placement button while moving any direction

Expected Result:
That the slabs should be continuously placed down as single slabs as long as there is a valid space to place them.

Actual Result:
A single slab gets placed down if you move side to side while your cursor is on a solid block. If you move while your cursor is on the slabs you are placing, it doubles the placed slab into a solid block and then stops placing.

In both instances, you must repeatedly press the placement button to continue placing slabs.
