PS4 disconnected controller and endless spin

Hi there, this could also be for the newest hotfix i.e. 1.18.11.

I am playing on a PS4

The issue is that I was in my AFK spot beside my mob farm and went to look around. While trying to look around I just started spinning on the spot and my controller completely disconnected. I tried to reconnect via the ps button and it would not connect. I tried to connect via a different controller and same thing.

While I have no controller connected the game is not showing the "controller disconnected" message

So as it stands I only have three possible options

1. Get down on my knees and pray to the minecraft gods that they take pity on me and feed me the ultimate fixing potion for it to stop and normal game play to resume - I deem this unlikely
2. Wait until the playstation shuts itself down - currently set at 3 hours. Noting this will pretty much crash the game and I will have to reset alot of my farms and likely make some villagers disappear (I hate this)
3. I can turn the PS off and hope for the best - IMO this will be the most catastrophic solution
