Game time is not synchronized with game actions. When doing an action, like opening a door, flying, eating or even breaking blocks, we do the action first and after about 3 seconds it is actually done. It's not even going to sleep, because when we click on the bed, time goes back about 5 seconds, and it's still daytime to sleep.
