Items multiply when releasing multiple harming arrows from a fence with Thorns 3 armor

When you die from multiple instant damage arrows with Thorns 3 on armor, the items that will drop multiply.

How to reproduce: shoot 17 Instant Damage 2 arrows on the front of a fence gate wearing armor enchanted with Thorns 3 and open the fence gate while under it
