banner bug

dear Minecraft team

 

it has come to our attention that when ever we want to place a waypoint banner for our map. we cannot use the L2 action on the banner to make it a waypoint. since this quality of life is really really handy in exploring and we all paid for the game and a server we would really like to see this bug resolved.
