Horse in a boat will glitch out of loaded chunk or become invisible

When exiting a boat with a horse in the boat and horse will either glitch back to an unloaded chunk and flicker back and forth or become invisible. These resolve on saving and closing Minecraft and reloading. The boat and horse then re appear. This is also happening when exiting a solo boat. It just vanished until I logged out and reloaded Minecraft.
