Bedrock will not open in VR

I have followed the instructions multiple times to open Minecraft in VR mode via shortcut creation as stated on page. I use Steam with HTC Vive Cosmos. It has worked in the past but never longer that 15 seconds into the game. After a Complete Windows and everything install and update it will not work at all.
