Won’t let me log in on my Microsoft account

Not letting me log into my Microsoft account for multiplayer, when it does go past the “let’s go” stage it will be a blank loading screen and the error message “crossbow”. it will also crash my game and an error message will come up on a black screen saying a software error has occurred.
