Villagers Detecting Workstations (POI) from over 16 blocks away

Minecraft Villagers are detecting Workstations (POI) from over 100+ blocks away when supposedly only supposed to detect them from a max of 16 blocks away. Video clearly shows that they are detecting blocks they shouldn't be hundreds of blocks away.
