Villagers disappearing

When ever interacting with a villager wther its buying something,trading or even making a farm with villagers or trading hall, when ever I log out and log back in the villagers and only the villagers disappear! Its happenend on multiple seeds and even when i tried loggin off while the villagers are not rendered. What i have noticed is that they will disappear only whe n i interact with them.. If for example i reach a village and there are 2 villagers if i interact with one and log out chances are when i log back in the villager i interacted with will not be there . What should i do? Is this a known issue? It really messed up the game for at least projects im working on now. Can not really complete anything because villagers dissapear.
