it crashes when i hit / while typing a command in chat and commandblock

The Game Crashes when i type / in chat and command block there's no way to stop it  1.17 it would freeze for 4 seconds but thats it but 1.18 ITS CRASHES! It makes map making harder. it would do that on android 8, android 9 fire 7 and fire 8 and LOTS OF MODELS! (TO MANY TO LIST!)
