Cannot join a world on Nintendo Switch

Error Message: "Cannot join world.  The account you are signed in to is currently playing in this world on a different device."  Everyone attempting is using a Nintendo Switch.  Also, when I go to see the Nintendo's Friends online list and try to join Minecraft that way, it still does not work even though I can see my Friend is online and using Minecraft.  Not all of my friends are showing in the Minecraft Friends list.
