Hopper not pulling in items

Minecraft 1.18.2

I have noticed that the Hoppers are letting through items for abit after placing it, but after a while it gets stuck. The barrel I have above my hopper holds the items, but doesn't fill the hopper, thus my furnace stays empty.

Only have had this problem since the 1.18.2 Update, I think
