Game won't update to 1.18 on iPad

Minecraft P.E on my apple Ipad hasn't updated to 1.18 but my java account has so I'm quite confused to what's happening around this new update? It would be a pleasure if I could get this fixed so I can play 1.18 on both Minecraft P.E and Minecraft Java Edition.
