Coordinates not showing and being wrong

Ok so when typing commands like /fill or /clone if I'm in midair it won't show my coordinates in the chat box, and when on the ground where it does show but more often then not the coordinates won't be what the "Position: x,y,z" says which can be bad for precise builds or clones.

It not game breaking by any means but would be nice to be fixed since it's been around since at least the ocean/village&pillage update, but since it's December happy holidays!
