boat glitch

Hi Mojang for some reason when i fly in the air and fall down in creative mode and place a boat it places 3 boats stacked pixel perfect on top of each other do you have any idea on why that is happening? and its never happened to me before so i think its a 1.18 glitch. and sorry for the dark picture it was night
