Certain items appear too early before switching to that item

Steps to reproduce

1. Hold some item.
2. Switch to holding a crossbow, bow, trident, shield, or spyglass.

Expected result

The item goes down and then the crossbow, bow, trident, shield, or spyglass comes up.

Observered result

The crossbow, bow, trident, shield, or spyglass instantly appears overlapped with the item, then disappears as the item goes down, then comes up from the bottom of the screen.
