My shaders don't work.

I downloaded some shaders that I don't remember on youtube, the shaders were compatible with the version of minecraft that I had installed, the shaders promised to modify the lighting experience, texture animation and improve the game's appearance in general, I downloaded the files. mcpack, I did the installation but when playing nothing changed in the game, it was still the default game graphics, I made sure that it was not a problem with the shader I downloaded many more different shaders and they all had the same result, why is that? Also if you are wondering I also tried some renderdragon shaders. Those did not work either. Also I do not have an RTX graphics card and I don't think I run the renderdragon version of the game.
