External/Internal storage files missing

I get a notification saying if I stay in external storage I could lose worlds so I changed it to internal storage and none of my worlds were there evan though I had minecraft transfer all those files, it keeps sending me to a web page that says " if you stay in external storage you could lose your worlds on some devices."
