Glitchy graphics with Geforce RTX

I've been experiencing rather glitchy and choppy graphics when playing on my laptop that has a Nvida Geforce RTX GPU. Below are some of the things i've seen while playing.

Parts of the screen flashing while placing blocks in water and dark areas

Flashing when placing a dark coloured block on a light coloured block and vice versa

Blocks momentarily disappearing and reappearing when placed/broken in water
