Game Crashes From Experimental 1.17 to 1.18

I was playing on minecraft 1.17 and trying the experimental caves and cliffs, and since 1.18 is out now, the game asks me to convert the world. When I press agree, it freezes for like 5 seconds and then crashes and does not convert the world. Therefore, I am unable to access the world. I don't know if the Beta 1.18.10.21 fixed this issue. I have restarted my computer,uninstalled minecraft and reinstalled it, updated all my drivers. not sure if other users have the same issue or not.
