Elytra hits wall then repeatedly hits the wall then crashes the realm

My friend was playing Minecraft on the Nintendo Switch when he flew straight into the wall and repeatedly hit it until the sever lagged out and 10 minutes later the server was back up. This happened to the user PossiblyKanek
