Shulker boxes dissapearing from inventory after hoping back into world

ive had two shulker boxes removed from my inventory on my survival, one of which was full of ores from hours of mining. it happened when i hopped back into the world after taking a short break, both times. they are entirely deleted, and i dont know the reason why
